Meet the team
As a new club we are starting out small but our ambitions are big! Below is a brief word from each of our members of the team.
“Acting has always been a part of my life and started all the way back when I was in primary school! I still remember being the Grewsome Giant out of jack and the beanstalk and flicking bogies into the audience and that’s when my passion was born. In secondary Secondary school was when I got a taste for directing too and In my adult years I have performed in many productions both modern and shakesperian. Now I want to ignite the passion for the stage in others!”
Tom Kenward.
“I have always loved the stage and working with children and am keen to help bring out the best in everybody!”
Steph
“Working with children Inside, Outside and on stage. Let’s go crazy, have fun and learn a bit in the process!”
Amelia
The Money side of things…
When it comes to the money side of things, we have tried to make it as simple as possible so this is how we’ll break it all down. Each individual session will cost £12.50 and we will collect payment in bi-monthly blocks in the form of an invoice. The invoices sent out will cover the next two months of sessions. The amount payable every other month may vary as it will be based on the number of sessions coming up. This could be from 6-8 sessions in said time frame. If you start half way through a payment period, you will be asked to pay for the rest of those session up until the next pay period starts and then you will be invoiced as mentioned above. You will not be charged for your very first session with MAD Club as this is your taster session!
If you find that MAD Club is no longer for you down the line then we do ask to be notified a pay period in advance so that we have enough time to fill the soon to be vacant spot.
We also do a 20% sibling discount to help with the cost of things if you have more than one child that would like to come to MAD Club. You will only be invoiced once to keep things simple.

Yes.
As we are a new club and do not know on the popularity of the club, we are starting off small but it has the potential to grow across multiple days and multiple lessons per day. If at any point we do decide to grow then we will send emails out with this information and what it means to you and your child/children.
If you have expressed an interest in the club but cannot do a Wednesday, don’t worry as we will keep everyone posted and you will know if the club is starting up on a different day.
There may come a time that we even decide to split groups into slightly narrower age groups such as 5-8 and 9-13 and run two sessions a day one after another but again, all information will be sent out before this happens and what it will mean to you and your child/children.
-
After a while we would hope that you see a difference in your child in every day life as so many life skills are developed and allowed to grow in such a positive and fun environment.
We hope that, in the future, we work towards our very own productions and performances that we can put on for friends and family members. All this will be communicated well in advance and clearly state what it means for you and your child/children.

At the moment sessions are held at:
Ash Village hall (Between the school and the pub!) on Wednesdays at 3.30pm until 4.45pm.
This 1 hour and 15 minute session gives you the time to then pop into Martock for a coffee in a local café, head into Yeovil to get your weekly shop done or even pop into the pub for a sneaky pint and a catch up with friends… What you do with your spare time is up to you but please be sure to be back at the hall for 4.45pm when we will release the children back to you.
-
Dropping off your children is as easy as sending them through the inner door to the hall when we open up the doors at 3.30pm. We will take a register of the class and then, at pick up time, we will mark off our children once they are released back to you.
If you are interested in getting your child/children involved in MAD Club then please use the form provided with your name and E-Mail and put your Child’s name and age in the message section and we will get back to you with further information and the next steps.
similarly, If you have any queries about the club, how your child is getting on or would just like to know a little more about us then please reach out using the form.
